Inspired by an exhibition game in Italy where Michael Jordan actually broke a backboard with one of his high-flying dunks, the colorway was derived from the orange and black uniforms worn back in the summer of 1986. Air Jordan 1 High OG "Homage to Home" Combines Banned and Chicago into one shoes

Many years after the first run of models invaded the markets, the Air Jordan 1 line is still going strong and managing to stay in style. Jordan Brand just shocked the sneaker world again by unveiling Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Homage To Home” Sample. It references Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls colors by combining the Banned look (famously worn by MJ in the ’85 dunk contest) on the lateral side and the familiar Chicago makeup on the medial side.
